The second single from Melbourne acid-jazz powerhouse Claps is a hurricane of drum and bass, spirit jazz, and progressive rock that feels set to consume everything in its path. At a blistering tempo propelled by the superhuman rhythms of drummer Miles Henry, ‘Unfear’ is a fiery call-to-arms against fear and ignorance, that wordlessly demands courage in the face of hatred. Featuring explosive solos from guitarist Sam Cox and saxophonist/band-leader Greg Sher that probe the depths of jazz for answers to the problems of a world in turmoil, this song is an unapologetic injunction for change.

Recorded and mixed at Newmarket Studios in April by two time Emmy winning and Bafta nominated producer/mixing engineer Guus Hoevenaars (Scissor Sisters, The Pierces, The Feeling) and mastered by John Davis (Gorillaz, FKA Twigs, The XX). ‘Unfear’ is available for digital streaming on Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp.
